Today, composer and multi-instrumentalist Gabriel Hollis returns with his debut studio single, a reimagining of Grimes’ ethereal and seminal song “Genesis.” In the original, Grimes commits to a singularly bright and major-focused sonic palette. In contrast, Gabriel’s vision of the song incorporates some diminished aspects, infusing it with temperance and melancholia.
