"JFK Dub" is the first single off the Spectres (Deluxe) album featured by Resident Advisor, Pitchfork, and Crack Magazine —a record haunted by dancefloors glimpsed through fog, melodies half-remembered, and signals from timelines that never fully materialized. Drawing on Jacques Derrida's concept of hauntology, Mordechai builds music that is at once deeply physical and strangely elusive: club music with a ghost in it.
J. Mordechai is an electronic producer and composer working at the intersection of club music, experimental pop, and sonic theory. His productions are rooted in the lineage of 2000s electronica but built for now: emotionally immediate, conceptually grounded, and resistant to easy genre placement.
