hi <3
it's been 5 years since I've really breathed and made anything. I like these collection of songs a lot, a little folk, a little ambient, gospel, electronic high-end crunch, an ode to dissonance in the classical. I wrote this, I lost my mind, my mind lost me and then the song escaped me. I wanted to love, I could not, I wanted to hold on, I could not, I wanted to be seen, I was not. In the heart that was breaking, i found a ribbon, i tied this just for you, in a particular shade of anti-pink.
But in the notes, I am everything.
Here is my new EP "Prelude of a Snowflake"
thank you for reaching back, my hand is always open
Searching for a semblance of home, whether it be in the soil or in the heart of eyes you have yet to meet. Deuén says: “I was crying over junebugs, I was crying over the dust. I wrote most of the songs when I was traveling, in between apartments, full of grief, and at odds with foundational relationships in my life. I wanted to grasp something to feel grounded within, but felt like I was reaching towards an evanescent touch. Fumbling and clumsy, I was asking and I asked for my needs. It's four tracks with a tinkling, transitory feel... Like snow, you feel the cold, the tingle in your body as the bite kisses you, heat leaving only a dew — the only evidence of its death — a meek wetness.
