The talented Croatian producer Andrea Ljekaj has had his work grace Get Physical, Motek and Elrow, and he returns to New Violence with 3 tracks of coolness for your listening pleasure. Over & Over is a great summer track, housey and warm, deep and infectious, plus several cheeky nods to past classics, adding an air to familiarity, while still remaining fresh... a biggie? We think so. July Forth is next and again has retro nods with its cool stabs, but is as fresh as a daisy. Cool percussion keeps us in check, as the vocals ride this winner superbly. Rounding things off is Toronto, and bears all the hallmarks of a classic deep house gem. Late night deepness and the right amount of swagger brought by a skankin tinge, and it does it for us!
