Fear Of Silence is proud to announce J Lamb’s new release Superform, featuring a remix by Delta Division.
Superform is an EP that explores the intersection between sound, structure, and perception, moving through the dark, layered territories of bass music with strong industrial influences.
The project draws inspiration from the work of German artist Thomas Bayrle, known for his intricate visual patterns and obsessive use of repetition as a means of construction and distortion.
The sonic approach is based on the concept of extreme layering: each track is built from overlapping strata of textures, deformed loops, and manipulated field recordings, creating a sense of oppressive yet dynamic density.
The rhythmic element, though present, is often deconstructed and reassembled, generating uncertain, unstable pulses, almost mechanical, evoking disintegrating assembly lines or decaying industrial infrastructures.
