This one has been on the hard drive since 2018 while I was trying to write a follow up album to Colour Graded. Obviously in a way different format. It's been a track i KNEW was wicked, but I couldn't crack it... then I got an MS20, and the rest was history. The prophet chords and the MS20 arpeggiator are just a powerful combo. Adding in some Youngr live drums was an obvious win.

The final piece happened LATE at night as I waiting for a group to freeze, during a doom scroll, a "Vines Classics that live in my head rent free" compilation came up. and the iconic "oooh my god" hit me square between the eyes, and I just KNEW that was the sample.

Anyway, all that to say, the twists and turns of this track are playful and demented at the same time and reflect my darkest and lightest reflections of life in this fast-paced modern world.

To be enjoyed while walking through a concrete jungle, in the winter, in the rain, without gloves, when you can't feel your toes and on the way to meet the love of your life that you just can't be with right now.
