‘Attese’ is the new EP from Berlin-based Italian producer Giorgio Labate. ‘Attese’ is an ambivalent Italian term meaning both ‘Expectations’ and ‘Waiting times’.

The EP is a study on the evolution of Euphoria within a track - ranging from moments where it is marginalized and enclosed within brick walls, to dysfunctional waves that build up one after another, chasing an emotional catharsis that is never fully achieved.

Euphoria’s exploration unfolds using a strictly limited set of sounds through intricate melodic lines, musical counterpoint, and juxtaposition via (quasi) silent harmonic content and unexpected sonic elements. The interactions of sound objects are shaped by a dual tension: they converge and diverge, playing with the rules of attraction and repulsion.
The EP’s sound palette emerges from entirely original synthesized audio material.
