TIOL is the debut EP from Laze, Sheffield based DJ, producer & owner of With Bells Records. Dreamlike throughout, TIOL draws influences from leftfield & electronica to house & garage.
Play is the lead single, a bass heavy house track laden with analogue synths and a stuttered vocal hook. In Gosson, Ayoko weaves her Gallic, Moroccan & Togolese heritage into Laze's ambient electronica paean to the Irish family spirit.
Constant Watch revolves around the ethereal piano performance, starting as a downtempo 69bpm LoFi track, before doubling in tempo, drawing influence from UKG & the Sheffield sound. Clutter House is an ambient piece that sparkles with no drum track, appearing on a Vinyl Moon compilation many moons ago, now finally having its own release.
100% of all proceeds (vinyl & bandcamp) go to World Central Kitchen (WCK).
