Open edition

A reissue of Rabit's groundbreaking 2015 debut album, arriving exactly ten years after its original release on Tri Angle Records.

The expanded edition features updated artwork by Collin Fletcher alongside four previously unreleased bonus tracks from the original recording sessions. Burton has cited Icelandic icon Björk as a guiding force in making the album; a creative relationship that would later lead to Burton co-producing the track "Losss" on her Grammy-nominated 2017 album Utopia.

Upon release, the critical response was unanimous. Resident Advisor called it "a harrowing work that turns dance music in on itself until it feels evil and destructive." SPIN highlighted how "'Snow Leopard' settles into its mechanized funeral marches" before letting "loose a synth line that spills onto the bleak proceedings like sunlight through stained glass." Exclaim! praised its "unrelenting series of skull-pounding beat salvos," while The Quietus described it as "a soundtrack-as-war-journal to a world that hasn't happened yet."

A decade later, Communion remains as vital and confrontational as ever. The Decennium Edition offers both longtime fans and new listeners the opportunity to experience this landmark album in its most complete form.
