this album is the first full length project i've ever completed on my own after years of collaboration and contributions to other's work.
last fall i did a recording session with my band kisspink that was engineered and produced by my friend harmony on her tascam multitrack machines. i'd never been so satisfied with the process and outcome of recording of a song that was mine. in november 2024 i purchased a yamaha mt8x 8 track cassette recorder and subsequently have written and recorded more songs of my own than i have in my entire life previous. these are the best (and majority) of those.
so thank u to harmony for inspiring me to take a path with my own work that i would have never found otherwise, for listening to most of these tracks as i sent them to u immediately after writing/recording them, and for creating our own album together with me alongside the production of this one.
thank u to aidan, zac, john, xavier, kathryn, seb, margot, and reid for allowing to me regularly collaborate with you on your work before i stepped into my own.
thank u to all previously or not previously mentioned in mondos, reid's band, andro queen, kisspink, seb's band, it's always better late than never, roadkill, harmony's cuddle party, and super decay ritual for playing with me on stage. particularly thanks to my own band, which has only formed recently, for donating ur time to allow me to bring a project uniquely mine to the stage.
