As summer drew to a close, a Canadian supergroup of sorts gathered in a cramped garage studio to track an ode to a simpler time—the 1990s. Led by Moncton sad girl queen Julie Doiron, the band was filled out with Land of Talk's Elizabeth Powell, former Wooden Star Michael Feurestack, and Francophone songwriter and engineer Dany Placard.
