Here with a a ground-up Newer Wii remix. After releasing the Metris Edit on Jungle, I went back to a project I started around a year and a half ago; Space remix. It wasn't much when I got back to it (just the chords of a few instruments, and the melody), but I was intrigued to go back to it and breathe new life. Overall, I'm probably prouder of it than I should be lol. It is similar to the original, but I added some Metris-ness(?) to it. The start is almost note-for-note, but I did change up some of the chords and melodies to fit better here (something I weirdly had fun with). The ending too had this, but to a much bigger extent. It starts coming into it's own though when the kick and snares hit in, later with the hats. And when the drum kit and bass lead back into the melody. Yeah that was my favourite transition. Space (Metris Remix) feels like one of my most complete releases in terms of production quality, and I love the outcome of what I created. Definitely my favourite remix made so far.
