"isochron" is an exploration of time, memory, and healing. Continuing the conceptual thread from the previous album ansatz—a mathematical term for an assumed equation leading to a result—this new work takes its name from another mathematical idea: isochron, referring to a set of starting conditions that lead toward the same long-term behaviour.
At its core, the album reflects on the elusive nature of time: how we perceive it, how we hold onto it, and how it shapes our emotional landscapes. Born from a period of heartbreak, the compositions were written in moments of introspection, where the boundaries between past, present and future blurred. The recurring sentece “time heals everything” became both a source of comfort and an obsession, sparking a search for meaning within the passage of days. At once vulnerable and conceptual, it blurs the line between the personal and the universal, and looks for a meaning in moments of stillness.
Through layered textures and evolving motifs, isochron contemplates time not only as a personal experience but as a broader, almost illusory construct—perhaps something subjective, perhaps something already written and unfolding all at once.
