Dansor returns to her Comport Records imprint with a mesmerising single featuring remixes from Mexican duo Natural Flow and Croatia’s Andrea Ljekaj.
Having just toured Europe, the first of the remixes comes from Alium regulars Natural Flow, aka Hugo Ibarra and Antu Coimbra, who have risen to become hot prospects within Mexico’s electronic music scene. Ibarra manages Intemporal Music whereas Coimbra is known for appearances on Hope Recordings and Sullivan Room NYC. Meanwhile, Andrea Ljekaj’s productions have landed on Get Physical and Save Us Records, picking up support from the BBC not to mention names such as Luciano, Jamie Jones, Damian Lazarus and M.A.N.D.Y.
Featured on Dansor’s debut album ‘Theory Of Love’ released earlier this year, ‘Inverted Moments’ is a hypnotizing production utilizing distorted vocals, soaring strings and echoing effects. Next, Natural Flow’s twisted remix strips things back whilst employing a tantalizing hook and ominous atmospherics before introducing a sinister organ riff in the latter half. Concluding the package, Andrea Ljekaj’s rendition features crunchy percussion and offbeat stabs for a groove led dancefloor workout.
