On a fateful night, it struck him: The only voice for these songs is John Moods. And so, a collaboration was born. First came Endless Keyhole, a soaring, guitar-driven rock ballad about accepting death and relishing reincarnation, then Let Love Roll Us Home, an ‘80s-inspired power-pop tune exploring non-romantic love and searching for the intangible. Influenced by Fernando Pessoa’s poetry and anthemic soft rock, this collaboration became Two Modern Rock Ballads á 3:48, as both songs are coincidentally the same length. Recorded over a few sessions in their respective home studios, this is the proud result of a natural creative synergy between two Berlin-based artists.
