This EP was actually created in one evening, including the cover, but the idea (or rather the atmosphere) took about a year to develop. The songs are from the first EP, which coincidentally came out in 2024 as the first album/EP on this Bandcamp profile. The official versions of the first two songs were written 11 months ago, but I finished them on January 3, 2026.
The first song, "Hotel Maximus Resort," is a reference to the wonderful peace of mind I feel when I visit my favorite spa in Brno, Czech Republic. An amazing world of sound, wellness treatments, and not to mention the whole atmosphere and relaxation that takes place in this place.
The second song, called "Hot Tub Sins", has a slightly "sexual" undertone, or rather a feeling. For understandable reasons, many people use spa whirlpools for romantic and slightly frivolous acts (or how to put it). This song slightly reminds me of that, but the interpretation of the track is complex. I chose the title because I found it interesting, and the atmosphere of the song itself is absolutely heavenly and relaxing for me. With the utmost feeling of peace in my heart, I like to listen to it while bathing or at the spa (which is in line with the romance I mentioned at the beginning).
The third and final track, "Bliss Of Hot Tub Halation (Shaman Remix)," is a reference to the aforementioned first album, "Steam Of Sleepy Hallucinations I EP," where this track is the first, and it is also the first track I ever successfully created in 2024 and ever. Honestly, I prefer this remix and I feel an even more pleasant spa atmosphere from it. The name "Shaman" also refers to the image on this cover.
On the cover, I am sitting in a cardboard mask that my dad made when I went to a school Halloween party in fifth grade (so yes, it was difficult to put on, hehe). The mask is styled after African masks we have at home, but it fits in with the space simply because it has two worn-out toothbrushes (like antennas) on top. With the mask on my face, I sit in the shower in a kimono and cyberpunk pants, illuminated by blue light through the fogged glass of the shower stall—it creates a slightly "ghostly feeling," and I personally think I look a bit like a Yōkai.
The cover was created by King Magmor. Its details are already explained in the album description. The funny thing is that the "Japanese translator" slightly modified the title, but only slightly, and the Japanese is only there for aesthetic purposes. Anyway, thank you for checking out the album or listening to it, and especially for reading this far. I would appreciate any support, whether it's a follow or a purchase of the EP, and especially if you buy the album, please leave a comment! Take care, good luck, and have a great time in the spa world!
Since I love the spa at this hotel so much, here is a link to it:
