“Forever” is the latest single from experimental Brooklyn band Automatic Candy’s upcoming record Amuse Bouche.
Much of the material on the band's first record was solemn due to the fact that it was written during the Covid-19 pandemic. When it came time for the second record, producer and guitarist, Kirk Schoenherr, challenged writer and drummer Rob Heath to lighten the mood. The explosive and modulation-happy "Forever" is the result. About the accompanying music video Rob explains, "I was thinking about hands and work and how fewer and fewer people each year are going to know what laboring with your hands feels like. I wanted to find footage that documents all of the ways in which we communicate our worth through the actions of our hands."
