HEIGHTS returns with her latest synth-pop release, 'Belong'.
Crafting emotive alt-pop for life's most cinematic moments, HEIGHTS blends 80s new wave, 90s dream pop and 00s alternative indie with a sleek electronic edge. Her sound pairs shimmering synths with celestial, intimate vocals - balancing nostalgia with a distinctly modern feel. Following the success of her 'Dreaming of You' EP, her music has soundtracked standout TV moments across the UK and beyond, from the finales of Love Island USA and Love Island UK to Queer Eye, Love Is Blind and Made in Chelsea. With continued support from BBC Introducing and Spotify, and tracks playing in H&M stores worldwide, she has quietly built a global audience drawn to her heartfelt songwriting and transportive sound.
An Ivors-recognised songwriter, selected for their writing camp with YouTube, HEIGHTS has also collaborated across the electronic space with artists including DJ Zinc, Kanine, Arcando and L.O. Following a run of 2025 tour dates supporting You Me At Six and The Xcerts, HEIGHTS returns in 2026 with brand new music.
Her new song 'Belong' is an ethereal alt-pop confession for anyone who has ever questioned where they fit. Floating over dreamy electronic textures, it pairs 80s new wave nostalgia with modern atmospheric pop, capturing the quiet ache of wanting to feel chosen, seen and at home.
Speaking on the track, HEIGHTS says:
”I wrote 'Belong' about the tension between craving closeness and feeling like you don't quite belong anywhere yet. It's a late-night conversation with yourself about identity and the need to feel seen - searching for home in another person while still trying to find it within yourself. Really outing myself as an overthinker with this one.”
