In 2023, In the dead of summer, Carlos visited Dallas to stay in residence at the Belmont Hotel at Z’s invitation. There, between tattoo appointments and tours of the hot Texas concrete, the two formed NOPALES and recorded an improvised session of electroacoustic sounds.
Carlos is performing with pedals, a CDJ, and a piezoelectric microphone.
