Zeki Jindyl, a Copenhagen-based saxophonist, singer, and composer, introduces his debut single, "Only Me". The track conveys an organic airiness, space, and almost spiritual atmosphere somewhat akin to David Sylvian and classic ECM releases - with high priority given to texture, sound design and the artistic integration of silence - while seamlessly integrating contemporary deconstructed RnB, subtle traces of Arabic folk, and the epic compositional avant-metal of Kayo Dot. Producer Oliver Nehammer brings additional depth, introducing a haunting bowed acoustic guitar that adds an otherworldly texture, while recording engineer Mads Riiskjær Jaurnow captured the interplay of three distinct acoustic guitars to create a rich, multi-dimensional sound. Combining moments of spontaneous musical exploration with focused, deliberate collaboration, "Only Me" is a powerful narrative of inner conflict, anxiety, and the chaos that follows when emotions are finally released.
