Never Sleep introduce Zoo into the fold with much effect and verbosity.
ZOO hailing from Vancouver unleashes the single Soft Deceit which was lost in demo tapes from the early 2010s.
Simplistic in its narrative yet the song is a barrage of chanting vocals,
catacomb guitar and those drums just demand the dancefloors attention.
Remix package is on point with Aasthma delivering an unsettling, dark, stripped back mix that ushers you into a hypnotic state while JASSS heading in the other direction just blows the whole thing wide open with a remix that deploys huge sonics to elaborate on the physicality of the original in new and unexpected ways.
The original, heralding the hazy days of punk and sounding like a
bedroom party on xtc, is also not to be missed.
