the first album by aemlx is inspired by the concept of ceremonial uproar - acoustic activity initiated for apotropaic purposes - that is to chase away the evil forces. the compositions are centered around burczybas - a Kashubian* ceremonial friction drum, that was rescued by the artist from a moving giveaway. the double whammy of MIS-using an ANTI-instrument tries to quench the desire for ritual amongst world chaos, and excites the dreams of changing the seasons, world orders, eras, resurrecting from the landfills and making ruins bloom.

this album is part 1 of a diptych, an initiation to a healing and explosive ritual of ceremonial uproar that will materialize in part 2 called ceremonial uproar. the intention behind this music is to transform the energy of horrors of the current world to transition to a new, better reality.
