This master is exclusive to NinaProtocol. A reworked version may surface elsewhere in time, but this tone lantern was lit here first.
A solitary piano fragment, unearthed from a live moment and placed in a reliquary of place and presence.
This piece drifts along the chalk curves of the Cuckmere Valley—a serpentine river on England’s south coast, often called the valley time forgot. Nestled next to it stands Dome E at Herstmonceux, the lunar observatory once used by Patrick Moore to map the moon. The reverb that wraps this piece was captured there: a single handclap turned into memory.
This is tone as cartography.
A pastoral nocturne, echoed through stone and sky.
A lantern placed quietly in the forest of sound.
For those listening with care. For those who remember how to hear where something was made.
