This double A-side marks the start of my debut album release. I wanted the initial output to showcase the scope of the record as best as possible. I chose ‘Ringsend’ and ‘Where You Should Be’ as I think they best represent the work as a whole, and highlight the different musical directions I followed while working it out.

The record covers a lot of ground, moving from uptempo, alternative club-pop to droning electronic shoegaze. There’s moments of indie-electro, hyperpop and new wave and scattered throughout. I think these initial singles give a decent insight into the tone of the album, its thematic content and demonstrate my broad ambitions for it.
