Marking 10 years since his debut Opening, French composer and producer Superpoze drops a special reissue of the album that launched it all.
Originally released in 2015, ‘Opening’ marked a turning point for Superpoze (Gabriel Legeleux). It was his first fully-formed statement—an intimate and cinematic exploration of “chamber electronic music,” crafted with care, curiosity, and limited resources. Now, a decade on, the album is being revisited and reissued in both limited-edition vinyl and digital formats, accompanied by new and unreleased material.
The 10th Anniversary Reissue features:
• A limited vinyl edition of just 300 copies, including Dream Koala’s rework of Unlive—available on physical format for the first time—and an unreleased track from the original sessions, Wait (2015 Archive).
• A digital release featuring all of the above, plus an exclusive new remix of Unlive by acclaimed UK electronic artist Rival Consoles.
“This album changed everything for me,” says Superpoze. “It was the first time I slowed down, gave music time, and created something with intent. Despite its fragility, it remains the origin point of my work—where all my albums, film scores, and collaborations have grown from. I’m reissuing it to celebrate it, and to thank it.
