I made Horizons as five takes on one idea, same seed, different light. It's a little tribute to the sound that hooked me in the early 2000s, when I was a teenager in Lofoten, and trance was the doorway into electronic music for me. This is the second release under the moniker Soulminer.

The Original Mix delivers a trance-driven experience, carrying a touch of nostalgia with an uplifting, groovy vibe—daytime energy, rolling drums, airy leads, surfing the crest rather than chasing the drop. Morning Mist starts in near-silence and grows patiently, in downtempo electronic mode, like first light gently filtering in. Pads bloom, small details breathe, and slow, heavy beats slide into focus to ease you awake. Sunrise Dub keeps the body of the original but loosens the edges. Still groovy and energetic, with a floating atmosphere. Sunset Dub goes darker and more machine-driven. Industrial touches, tech trance pressure, deeper low end, less melody, more tension. Midnight Sun Alternative switches the melodic shape and digs into a heavier, melodic bassline. A full-on tech trance twist, and a direct homage to my time growing up in Lofoten.
