Farinas addresses the hairless elephant in the room with his latest single “DO I NEED A LINEUP?”. Having dealt with alopecia since beginning his music career, Farinas’ hair has come and gone. Sparking claims that his patches were self inflicted, a gimmick, a barber mishap and everything in between. Whilst the imagery behind this record pokes fun at these claims, Farinas chooses to let his lyricism prove his point for him. The music has and always will come first. The bald rappers rhetorical question of “do I need a lineup?” pushes his audience and peers alike to dig deeper in their assessment of him. Does he look like he needs a lineup?
