“Everything is Alive” is the debut solo piano album by Brooklyn-based pianist and composer Tetsuro Hoshii. Recorded in a single afternoon, the music is built almost entirely on improvisation, shaped by quiet gestures, shifting harmonies, and melodies that emerge and dissolve like passing light. Rather than following fixed structures, each piece unfolds in real time and captures a sense of presence, breath, and unfiltered emotion.
Mixed and mastered at Rainbow Studio in Oslo, the album carries a warm and intimate clarity that highlights the physical closeness of piano, room, and performer. “Everything is Alive” is not about perfection. It is about allowing every moment, even the most fragile ones, to have its own voice.
