d!p — is a selection of live sets played in the spring of 2024 while touring the British isles.

TOTALEEE are a laptop trio formed of: Giuseppe Pisano, Andrea Laudante, Paolo Montella. Carving out non-idiomatic electroacoustic improvisation, the signature of their work is in their modus operandi. Gazing down, desk-locked tension, they put on visceral performances: sharp gestures, sudden shifts, steep buildups, brutal drops. Like dogs on the prowl, every disruption is an excuse to pounce in and completely tilt the franken-scene. WOOF.

The Neapolitan trio are seasoned live performers, their locked-in cohesion is evident throughout this album of highly detailed live excerpts. Looking through the list of heavy-hitters TOTALEEE have played with over the years with; they know what’s up (Toshimaru Nakamura, Kjell Bjørgeengen, Lauri Hyvärinen, Elio Martusciello, Carlo Mascolo, Jean-François Laporte and ++++). With their previous releases/publications including: Linee Rumore Marittima, and Sovraimplicazioni (as Tromboneee with Carlo Mascolo) both released on Materiale Elettrico, we are ever so excited to welcome them to LOL Editions.
