Post-'Cordial' (out earlier this year via mondoj), Ursula slips past the weight of the sophomore-LP-expectations and lets spontaneity leak in. Unlock is held together by quiet courage — opening doors, breaking cycles, choosing movement over repetition. Hope is shaped by work, grief steps aside for love, anger learns how to soften. The record hums with fear and change, asking softly: must history repeat itself, or can it be rewritten?
'Chest Pain' tightens around the fear of connection. 'Butter me' oozes care — warm, thick, gloriously messy. 'Spiders' stitches the body back into a home, a sanctuary after harm. 'AFK I' drifts through vulnerability and the ache of rejection. 'FFEEFEE' squints toward adulthood in a world pretending it knows what that means. 'Burden' and 'Fascinating' stay close together — friends, anchors, proof that giving and receiving care is its own small miracle.
