Weaving the industrial grit of northwestern Europe with the euphoric, glass-shattering melodies of 2000s trance, ‘Body Scan’ functions as both a dirge and a beacon. It is a palm tree growing out of a pile of concrete dust and e-waste; a vision of the future that looks past the apocalypse toward a shimmering, high-fidelity light.

The project bridges the sonic worlds of Berlin-based Locre (Divine Relic / Fixed Abode) and French producer Comperi (Low Income Squad / Magdalena’s Apathy), two artists whose digital exchange deconstructs club tropes. This atmosphere is further dismantled by Sweden’s Exilee (Speed Services / Massive Gain), and DJ Nick Jersey (Synthetic Pleasures / Vulture Note), extending the collaborative network Yearning continues to architect.
