A new compilation album series curated by the Tokyo-based rave crew Minna no Kimochi is set to launch. The series will be released exclusively via Bandcamp and Nina Protocol, through the crew’s own label, Mizuha 罔象.
Structured as a five-part cycle—春 Spring / 夏 Summer / 長夏 Long Summer / 秋Autumn / 冬Winter—the series brings together artists across generations and genres, seeking to trace an alternative lineage of rave culture.
The first chapter, “長夏 Long Summer,” is out now in full. In addition, the first drop of a collaborative merchandise series with the multifunctional collective "GB MOUTH" will be unveiled, alongside a limited collaboration item with "eto", a brand focused on the ecosystems of nightlife and urban culture. The piece—an anonymous, functional raincoat—embodies both protection and concealment. The subsequent chapters, “Autumn,” “Winter,” “Spring,” and “Summer,” will follow sequentially through June 2026, with the GB MOUTH collaboration expanding into a five-part merchandise series as well. All items will be available through Bandcamp and the GB MOUTH online shop.
Emerging abruptly in the early 2020s during Tokyo’s pandemic shutdown, Minna no Kimochi did not originate from the heart of the nightlife districts, but rather from bedrooms, suburban outdoor raves, and practices spanning ambient experiments to deconstructed club sounds. Their trajectory represents not only a form of survival in the post-pandemic cultural landscape, but also a signpost toward new pathways for the future of club and rave culture.

For those of us living within the solar system, Long Summer is the moment when life force reaches its peak, an explosion of energy. During this longest stretch of daylight, the gods, once set in motion, act with a force as if to burn the planet down, and in doing so they bestow upon the earth an overwhelming abundance. Humanity, partaking in this bounty, devised calendars to stabilize the rhythms of the collective. In recent years, the explosive force of Long Summer has only intensified, and some whisper that the very outlines of the seasons are dissolving. Yet what emerges there is not the disappearance of change, but rather a deeper, greater transformation. Seasons are not merely cycles of calendars or systems—they are movements shaped by the interplay of atmosphere and celestial bodies, weaving a dynamism that rewrites time and space, and in doing so, creates the future.
We can never fully control this movement. The pandemic revealed to us that we cannot renounce breath itself—that we are directly bound to the atmosphere—and that in the face of its overwhelming influence, we must invent new means of survival. The same force that sustains us can also dismantle our ways of being with devastating intensity, yet it is precisely this force that reveals signs of new ways of life.
Seasons are not the cycles of a nation-state’s institutions, nor the rhythms dictated by cash flow, nor the monotonous schedules mapped to the very last detail. They are the flux of the cosmos beyond the solar system, the vast breathing that envelops us. Now, as this force rises with destructive intensity to the point of breaking through the everyday, tracing the path of the seasonal waves becomes a journey through uncharted territory. This new cycle will dismantle the endless repetition of sameness symbolized by subscription-based systems, and in its place, reawaken new modes of living—a process of resurrection.

「みんなのきもち」は、2020年代初頭、シャットダウンされたコロナ禍の東京に突如として現れた。繁華街のクラブを出自とせず、寝室から郊外の野外レイブ、アンビエントから脱構築クラブまでを横断する実践を重ねてきた。それは、ポストコロナの音楽文化におけるひとつの生存の形態であり、同時にこれからのクラブ／レイヴ・カルチャーにおける新しい道筋を指し示すものである。

太陽系に生きる私たちにとって長夏は、生命力が極限に達する、力の爆発です。日が最も長いこの時期、はずみをつけた神々は、この星を焼き落とすかのような勢いで活動し、大地にあふれんばかりの豊穣をもたらします。私たちはその産物に与り、集団に安定したリズムをもたらすべく、暦を編成してきました。近年、長夏の力の爆発は激化し、季節の輪郭は消え去るとも囁かれています。しかしそこで起こるのは、変化の消失ではなく、より大きな変化です。季節とは本来、暦や制度の範疇を超えた運動であり、大気と天体が織りなすそのダイナミズムは、時空の区分を編み直し、未来を作り出します。
私たちはその運動を完全に掌握することができません。パンデミックが突きつけたのは、私たちは呼吸を手放すことができず、大気に直に結ばれているということ、その影響力を前に、新たな生存手段を創出せねばならないということでした。私たちを生かしている力は、ときに私たちのあり方を徹底的に解体しかねないほどの猛威を振るいますが、それは同時に、新たな生き方の兆しを出現させるものでもあります。
季節は、一国の制度や、資金繰りの利害のための周期、隅々まで予定された単調なスケジュールなどではありません。それは、太陽系を超えて広がるコスモスの流動性、私たちを覆い尽くす巨大な息吹の変動です。その力が、日常を突き破るほど破壊的に昂りつつある現在、季節の波に即し、その道行きを辿ることは、一度も行ったことのない未踏の地を巡る旅となります。この新たなサイクルは、月額料金システムに象徴される、経済や月日をめぐる同じものの際限ない繰り返しを解体し、新たな生活方法を再生する、復活の過程となるでしょう。
