casualshrine is the project of the Chicago via Alabama artist Colin Blanton. Earthen was recorded in Chicago in the winter of 2025 & though some of these sounds do feel icy, there are some uplifting & expansive moments. The album opens with a beautiful headphone trip of Tim Hecker esque ambient swells & Blanton's impressive rhythmic skills are on full display in his drum production throughout most of the album. Fans of ONEOHTRIX POINT NEVER, Hecker & forward thinking minimal techno will appreciate!
This digital edition is a nina-exclusive that includes two bonus tracks from the EP 84g - AMBIENT
