Celes is an artist based in New York. Her music melds the enigmatic and the technical, traversing uplifting rave performances, crushing drone, synthetic machinations and beyond. Café is her debut Club Paradiso release. The album is a transference of divine energy, bound, distilled and purified. Artificial angels reconstituted from charred selkie matter: strobe haloes, hardcoded virtue sensors, plied and fused mechawings. Brutal cyborgian femininity, a slow-swaying dance on the border of Nothingness and Totality. Café sighs and shimmers like a digital mirage, blissed out and blessed up in equal measure.
