"As I work towards my second album, and drawn to plunderphonics and experimental vaporwave, I’ve been coming up with various tracks as a form of play and practice – six of which I’ve compiled on this mixtape.

Some tracks are created through collage and sampling, whilst others start by dissecting a track and end up as entirely new pieces. The compilation reflects the playful spirit, curiosity and energy that underpins the work.

The connection to the 80s and 90s has also been very much present; sampling mainly adverts and rare songs from the 80/90s, is for me a way of engaging with the aesthetics of that era from a modern perspective, creating a contemporary space for memory."
