Token 9 connects a new artist to the label. Supporting Token releases since the beginning, now Oscar Mulero steps up to add his own flavour to the slowly growing Token catalogue.
Hailing from Madrid, Mr Mulero is the nr 1 Spanish export in techno. He's dj'ing since 1988 and has acquired a nice backcatalogue productionwise, not only on his own 2 labels 'Warm Up' & 'Pole' but also on Tresor, Surface, Theory & Coda.
'Take Seven EP' takes off with the beatless, sparkling 'Cuckooland', then dives immediately in the raging darkness of the title track. 'Take Seven' is a brutal peaktime techno track with acid influences. 'House Of Clouds' has a throbbing hypnotic drive with a sort of Axis feel. 'Seven Kinds Of Sin',  a softer and deeper groove filled with acid from beginning to end.
Oscar Mulero is still one of the major driving forces of the underground techno sound of today, which makes it only natural he'd connect with Token on some point.
