Pushed by the need to consolidate a trippy, dub infused vision of a dancefloor taking elements and inspirations from ritualistic music, strongly manipulated mediterranean folklore elements and hallucinating basslines, label boss Ortensio kicks off the cyber dub archives serie with 5 raw jams spanning from 145 to 170 bpms, oscillating from a half tempo setting to an uptempo 4/4 frantik madness. BIO:

Ortensio has been an active sound engineer, music producer and DJ for more than 15 years. Nowadays a resident DJ, art director and production director for various formats such as Cura Festival and Balleremo 04:14 and has so far released music on multiple independent electronic music labels all over Europe. Born and raised in Southern Italy and based in Milano, for more than 6 years has actively worked both as a stable member and as an independent worker for multiple production houses and media production projects, as a Sound Engineer, and Audio Production Director.
From an artistic perspective, Ortensio’s research focuses towards electronic music and sound system music with a deeper focus towards the phenomena, collectives, producers and music makers of the mediterranean basin. One of the outputs of such research is Milano Cyber Dub.
