Hasfeldt returns with a new release, this time bringing the music closer to the ground.
“Play Me Like One of the Others” is a five-track ambient and trip-hop release that unfolded after a residency in Skagen, the city where the seas meet. During the stay, Hasfeldt spent a month in Skagen, collecting hours of recordings of the church organ in Skagen Church.
After months of dust settling, the recordings were brought back to life with help from Australian musician Fatshaudi, Croatian Amor, First Hate lead singer Anton Falck, and Newcastle producer Burning Pyre.
“Play Me Like One of the Others” is a contemporary work meant to brighten your day.
