The Berlin based duo Jones&Roth love to cook - in the kitchen and the studio. The two producers Pino Peña and estimua, who have so far released mainly House on labels like Sounds Over Seas or Schimmers Groovebox now show their technoy side for W133. The EP holds 3 original tracks, each of them a homage to a turkish vegetable: aubergine (patlican), zuchini (kabak) and hot pepper (aci biber). „Kabak“ the starter of the EP is an energy driven dancefloor tool with bouncy bass which makes you want to dance instantly. A2 - „Aci Biber“ is of course the spiciest of the tracks. It drives with a distorted bassline and punches you right in the stomach. On the B side we find the very percussive „Patlican“, giving you the need to enjoy a tasty baba ganoush under the Neukölln sun. If you want it a bit freakier, say no more - the duo asked their good friend Egotot for a crazy remix of patlican, which was produced under heavy dong xuan influence.
