A multi-instrumentalist, Cannonball Adderley is best-known for his work on alto saxophone and for his recordings with Miles Davis and with his own small groups.

Brad McCarthy enlisted the help of some of the finest jazz cadets in Brisbane for Brad McCarthy’s 'Cannon Fodder'. This quintet presents the music of one of the all-time titans of the alto saxophone and hard-bop movement in Cannonball Adderley.

The quintet infects the soul and gets those feet tapping with some of the classics from the Cannonball Quintet.
