Reasons for the small break since last year’s seminal ‘Behind The Sun / The Chasedown’? A lot of remix work – which will see the light of day in the following months - and more importantly: finishing his long awaited debut album. The LP is called ‘Frames Of Reference’ and will be released this autumn. The 2 tracks on this single – a double a-side - are both featured on the album and should give you a taste of what flavours to expect.
‘On The Edge’ & ‘Perplexed’ complement each other perfectly. The first is a raw peak time cut, while the latter is a more atmospheric & hypnotic piece for the afterhours.
Both pieces bring display strong & intense techno with an incredible sense for depth & detail. Few seem to master these qualities like Ø Phase does.
