Following on from her four improvised EP's, Karen Vogt continues exploring improvisations with a four album series called "Little Pink Fluffy Clouds".
In 2020 she recorded 22 live improvisation sessions for her radio show called "Little Pink Fluffy Clouds". Playing with pedals, loopers and effects with layered vocals are still a feature of these improvised works. On this fourth and last album (D) she has saved the best until last and has selected her favourite improvisations form this series. This album has that have a good balance of experimentation and also the flow that comes from doing these improvisations - where the song just seems to form in real-time and you simply let it come through.
FIRST FLOOR #153 (Shawn Reynaldo/US) “cloud thirty-six is a standout ... perfectly encapsulates the spellbinding imperfection of the project, its ethereal drift and persistent hum creating an inviting atmosphere that Vogt fills with her vulnerability."
