If you have seen Luge play live in the past forever, you are nearly guaranteed to have heard B.E.N.A.D.I.L.M.A.N. It has been the last track of our set at all but a handful of the 171 shows we have played to date. That said, you may not have heard the original recording of it from 2015.

We sort of forgot to celebrate 10 years of Luge last year because we were too busy working on what’s to come. But it’s interesting to think how much has changed. This was the first song written by the original Luge lineup. With Cam and Stu joining in 2016, and our inability to cut it from the set, B.E.N.A.D.I.L.M.A.N. has evolved over 10 years of live play.

We wanted to record what we had done together by laying down this track again to mark Stu’s departure from Luge in 2024. Stu did so much to shape and reshape what the band is today and we are so honoured to have him be a part of Luge forever.

This modern version of B.E.N.A.D.I.L.M.A.N. has been distilled over dozens and dozens of shows and practices. It’s heavier, it’s crazier, it’s faster AND slower at different parts. This recording, when placed next to the original, offers a look at a decade of learning and creating together.
