Armenian Juke was born in 2023. At that time I had just released my first Armenian experimental hip-hop album Eraz. It was a big step for me when I dared to use Armenian vocals for the first time dove into my childhood memories and tried to understand how my national identity sounds through music.

I’ve always gravitated toward something dark and experimental but after Eraz I had this idea to take a different direction - something fast, energetic and danceable. That’s how a folder called Armenian Juke appeared on my computer.
