Local Action presents the first full EP by Shriekin, a producer who has emerged as one of the UK's most unique aged just 19.
Shriekin’s music is full of colour and melody, with vibrant, sharp mixdowns and production skills way ahead of his age. On Gold and Featherwork, he makes music for beaches and canyons and space and the sea, but has found a home in Boxed, where his tracks are regularly played by the likes of Slackk and Murlo. Like Slackk’s Palm Tree Fire, this EP not only showcases grime’s potential as cinematic music that can exist outside clubs and pirate radio ciphers, but also the vision and imagination that sets Shrekin apart from his peers.
