Next up on the series is a name we’ve been following for sometime and we feel incredibly honoured to have them on, the NY based producer jung dj⭐️. Their beautiful self releases leave you finding yourself always curious towards their methods of production.
In this mix jung dj spoils us with a lovely hand picked selection giving us a stunning lullaby of sounds. The warm, shimmering melodies throughout give us a personal sense of what they represent.
“Ideally this mix could serve as a playful challenge to the idea of “serious” experimental music. As if to convey a rejection of the purely cerebral approach (or work that is at the expense of the visceral). For me, music is at its best when the two go hand-in-hand-- though I’m ultimately most interested in what feels good on a cellular level. So, let's just say this mix serves as a gentle reminder for me to trust my instincts. And maybe it'll do the same for others... you never know.”
