SCHOOL MUSIC is a two-track children and teens' music project made possible through the support of Culture Therapy, a non-profit arts organization dedicated to protecting the right to expression as indispensable to individual and community wellbeing. The first track on the project, "Spring Has Come," is a collaboration between the Brooklyn-based artist and singer-songwriter Rockie Rode and the middle school vocal & band students at New York City's Charter School of the Arts. The second track, "Suburban Hell," is an original song by the New York post-punk band Gowanus River Swim Team, which is composed of five band members ranging from 11 to 16 years old.
