T. Williams revives his original alias, Dread D, for four tracks of timeless grime.
Although most people know T. Williams for his house anthems, in the early 2000s he was known as Dread D. A key part of Jon E Cash’s seminal Black Ops crew, he released white label classics like ‘Invasion’ – as proved by a recent Dread D Boiler Room set, they still sound great now.
For Siege, T uses the classic sound kit from his Black Ops days but combines it with the studio expertise that he’s developed as T. Williams, resulting in tracks that could be classics in either 2002 or 2015 (there’s also a re-tooled version of an overlooked vintage Dread D cut, ‘Time Command’). This is as authoritative as grime gets.
