07:03:12 a.m. PST, may 24th, 1995. the airwaves are, for the moment, clear; a standard monday morning newscast has just been beamed into millions of homes from a satellite far far from earth. then, something goes unexpectedly haywire. millions watch helplessly as their televisions fuzz over like a shaken up seltzer, and as many approach their sets to try to diagnose the glitch, the screens gradually readjust to a new sight. "take it easy," a soothing voice tells them, "and chill out," the other adds. two figures wave through the tv. these two figures are COOL ANGELS and JCCG, men who wont be identified as the culprits of this mass media hijack for another thirty years. cool angels is leaning his elbow against a massive globe model, wearing a sky blue jacket and leather jeans, while jccg is sitting on a table littered with devices and parts, in a ripped denim vest and worn out orange shorts. both have hair immediately reminiscent of the ocean - jccg with a curly surfers mullet, and nick with a windswept trim befitting of the captain of a trading vessel. and indeed, behind them one can see clearly the ocean through a large window, rippling and folding over itself in a perpetual motion. jccg: "hi, thanks for having us in your homes, everybody. boy, i just love what you've done with the decor." ca: "now, we understand you might be concerned - but please, don't worry, we're friendly. we're just here now to give you all an important message, one we think may change the course of history for the better. jccg, be careful with that knob!" jccg (sheepishly): "desculpa..." the half hour following these momentous words will go down in history as the most lifechanging program that has ever been aired on live television; and now, you too will be able to hear their important message for humanity in this newly rediscovered recording: SUB ATLANTIC HEART.
