Copenhagen-native HEDO HYDR8 releases IDENTITY SAMPLER I, an original 2-tracker featuring two maxxed out foorfllers and a dungeon-like remix by Salviatek’s Sueuga (fka Sueuga Kamau). The release represents HEDO HYDR8 venturing into a more foor-focussed sound that pushes impressions of Jersey Club, Baile Funk and Kuduro into high-energy territories.
IDENTITY SAMPLER I is the first release in the trilogy exploring and fusing the genre identities shaping HEDO HYDR8’s work.
‘Keep Up’ is an intentionally over-the-top weapon that is sure to satisfy an aching crowd and fire up a rowdy foor. ‘B’ is a high-bpm synth-lead driven rave cut brimming with lazery percussion, elastic bass and a commanding electro-clap.
On remix duties Sueuga drags ‘B’ down into a torture dungeon of relentless breaks, heavy subs and hellish turbines.
